Residential Landscape Services
To keep your landscape looking its best all year we offer the following professional landscape services:

Core Aeration
Aerating a lawn is the process of removing small cores of soil and grass to allow air, water and nutrients into the root zone. The biggest benefit to aerating your lawn is allowing sufficient oxygen to reach the grass roots. Heavy soil compaction severely reduces the pore space around grass roots which limits the amount of oxygen in that region. Aerating improves soil structure, reduces compaction, improves nutrient and water uptake, and allows roots to expand freely which leads to thicker, stronger roots for a healthier lawn.

Overseeding
If your lawn is thin and patchy, or if you're just looking for year round green and want to put a cool season grass in for the months when your warm season grass is dormant, or vice versa, overseeding is the technique of choice. Overseeding compensates for that natural slow down of the turf's reproduction, helping to thicken turf giving you a fuller, more attractive lawn. A healthy, thick turf is the best defense against weed encroachment. Disease, drought, heat, poor soil or just plan old neglect may mean that it's time for a round of overseeding.
Natural Fungicide for Turf and Plant Disease Control
Disease in turf and plants develops from an interaction among a susceptible plant, a disease-producing organism, and an environment favorable for disease development. Pathogens are present in all lawns. Diseases occur when environmental conditions become favorable for the build up of pathogen populations. Our natural fungicide controls diseases such as dollar spot, brown patch, and pythium blight on turf areas. It also will control issues such as black spot, powdery mildew, shot hole, and other plant problems.
Compost Tea Application
Compost tea is used for two reasons: To inoculate microbial life into the soil or onto the foliage of plants, and to add soluble nutrients to the foliage or to the soil to feed the organisms and the plants present. Compost tea helps to establish soil micro flora in poor soils. Healthy soil means healthy plants. It is also used to help with soil compaction, thatch removal, and other soil problems in turf and plant bed areas. The use of compost tea is suggested any time the organisms in the soil or on the plants are not at optimum levels.

Tree Root Injections
Trees and shrubs need a balanced nutrient mix for proper growth and survival - just like we need a balanced mix of vitamins and minerals in our diets. In a natural setting, trees are fed by the rich blanket of humus on the forest floor. However, in our urban landscaped environment, fertilizer is needed to take the place of this natural food. Our tree root injections of bio-stimulants and fertilizer directly to root zone of weakened, diseased and stressed adult trees or large shrubs allows them to grow healthier and makes them more resistant to pest infestation.

Mulch is usually applied first in spring after the soil has warmed and begun to dry from winter rains and snow. Depending on soil texture (size of soil particles), temperature and other weather conditions, this is usually mid to late spring. A second application is often needed in autumn. For established plants, timing of the mulch application may not be as important as it is on new plantings, especially shallow rooted shrubs and evergreens, herbaceous perennials, or strawberries.
Top Dressing Application
Increases nutrient uptake of plants, balances moisture content of soil, alleviates compaction and enhances root development. Added benefits to top dressing is leveling of small indentations in your lawn. Successful grass renovations are achieved with topdressing. Your seeding, slit- seeding, and over seeding processes will produce maximum results too.
